Another 21st present!
This is a work of embroidery with a felted mountain - I've never felted before so was interesting giving that a go
I designed the piece but all of the design elements came from the different drawings that Tolkien originally did for 'The Hobbit'. The verse also comes from 'The Hobbit' The piece was sprayed for protection and lightly padded with fleece.
